I'm about to finish the season 3, episode 14th of Dr. House… As of this time, I am writing this post, so I am in a break! A break in watching House on DVD… Since I am in a break I opted to post a blog about House and the noble career behind it- Medicine.
In grade school, we are often asked what we want to be when we grow up (that is usually used for graduation purposes, for yearbooks). So if all of you or some of you are brilliant enough, you might have figured out by now what was written in my yearbook's "what I want to be" page. And for some unknown reason that you still can't figure out what was written well I'll spiel it out… Okay here it goes… It says "to become a Doctor someday"… I really want to become a doctor when I was a kid and until now, that's one of the reason why I chose to take up Nursing for Nursing is a pre-med course.
Let's get back about the TV Show or in my case the DVD show (lol), House is not just ordinary dramas in life… It has lots of twists and turns in the story. You'll find it more interesting I think if the course you took or still taking up in college is related to health… Every chapter of House is really exciting! The diseases they present are somehow weird and new to my hearing… Who would have thought that there is a disease that is called Still's Disease? Weird eh? I just knew about the disease while watching House! Aside from presenting good diseases(weirdo diseases to be exact), there are also pathophysiology, anatomy and physiology, immunology, and a lot more! Or maybe all of the subdivisions in Medicine are presented!
While I was watching House, I was very eager to be educated furthermore about what to do when a person is sick, too bad I can't pursue becoming a doctor for some confidential circumstance in my life which I don't think I can tell the whole Philippines or the world as of now. I don't intend on giving up my dream to be a doctor, sooner or later I will take up medicine and be a doctor someday, just like Dr. House… It just so happened that there are many family problems these past few years and I don't want to cause too much anxiety when I am into Medicine… Medicine is a lot more difficult course than that of Nursing… Believe me!!! I want to pursue medicine having stress free, and clear mind… I will become a doctor soon! Someday, the time will come that I'll be treating and diagnosing clients… But I don't like Dr. House's attitude though, he is so hypocrite and is so harsh to his clients… I only want his intellectual capacity and his being keen observer! For the mean time, I will be a nurse for some time while I am intensely freeing my mind to stress… Being a nurse is still "a noble job"… Just like being a doctor…

If you still haven't watched House, you should watch it! It is highly recommended, just like Grey's Anatomy, and ER!
Same here! I definitely want to be like Dr. House when I become a doctor!
